PERSONAL.
Mr Blair iMason, consulting engineer to the Harbour Board in connection with the harbour improvement scheme, visited Whangarei today and after a conference in camera with -the members of the board, returned to Auckland again to-day.
Cabled advice has just been received by Mr WJMcKinstry, of Maunu road, Whangarei, that his daughter, Miss "Bo" McKinstry recently arrived safely in England in pursuance of her holiday tour. Miss McKinstry is at present the guest of her uncle, Dr. J. H. Thomas, at Llanwityd Wells, Brecknockshire, Central Wales, and is enjoying herseltf immensely in the midst of the proverbial Welsh hospitality. No derails of the voyage are igiiven ibeyjond the Panama stage, but up till then excellent weather conditions had prevailed.
