VIOLENT PERPETRATIONS. HUNTING IN HORDES. LONDON, May 5. A hundred armed men besieged the house of Sir Arthur Vickers, Tho leader threatened him with a revolver, and Sir Arthur told him to shoot. He agreed to show them the strong room, but refused to give them the key. He was then placed under guard while the invaders attacked the strong room with crowbars and pickaxes without success. Sir Arthur received a Sinn Fein assurance that they were not connected with the outrage. —United Service.
