Dalgety and Company, Limited, Auckland, report having held their ■weekly sale of hides, etc.', on Tuesday, last. The market still shows signs of weakness, damaged and second-class hides being in very poor-demand-Best butchers' hides, ox, stout, to 22d; 18d to 21d, light, 17d to 20d; second quality, 13d to 16d; cow, best, to 19d; seconds, 12d to 15d; yearling, 15d to 18d; cut damaged and dirty hides at lower rates; horse hides, large, to 25/, small, 5/ to 10/; horse hair, tail, long to 2/; short 1/G to 1/9; mixed, 1/3 to 1/G; mane lOd; tallow, market lower, best, in shipment casks, to £72 per ton; broken packages, £45 to £55 per ton; bones, dry, £9 per ton.
