HOCKEY.
A meeting of the management committee of the Whangarei Hockey Association was held last evening, at ; v hick all members of the committee ' \vt?re present.
it was decided to circularise all affiliated clubs to elect delegates, a»d to state whether it was their intention to pluy either Thursday or Saturday. It was pointed out that each club is allowi'il two delegates to be present at the •annual general meeting, which is to be iiold in about three weeks , time. Nonaliiliated clubs were also aakod to send i heir delegates. A committee was set up to procure suitable grounds for the forthcoming

The revision of rules was then goae into and will be submitted at the general meeting.
