MANAWATU PRICES,
Dalgoty and Company, Limited, report having held their weekly stock sale at Levin on Tuesday, the 3rd instant, when they offered a large yarding of sheep and a small yarding of cattle. A complete clearance was effected at satisfactory prices and the principal quotations are as follow: —Fat wethers 33/0 to 34/, fat ewes 28/G to 33/, breeding owes 17/15 to 20/3, 4-tooth ewes 23/ to £;V3, 4-tooth wethers 25/ to 26/6, 2-tooth wethers 22/6 to 25/, m.n. shorn hoggets 7/1.1 to 15/3, m.s. lambs 8/7 to 15/4, cull lambs 5/4 to 7/10, faj: cows £10 .12/ to £1.1 .10/, weaner steers £1 15/ to £2 5/, weaner heifers £1 15/ to £2.
