SWIMMING
MAIR PARK CARNIVAL.
Keen interest is being Ifcaken in the Swimming Carnival to be held in Mair Park on Thursday. A fine programme of events has been arranged, and some keen contests may be confidently looked forward to. The committt*:; of the Swimming Club has shown in Ithe past that it is capable of running its sports meeting well. There are no long tedious waits between events, and arrangements for the different contests are always complete. fine weather the attendance should be exceptionally large.
