DAVIS CUP CHALLENGE.

NEW YORK, Feb. 7. The New York Lawn Tennis Association has decided to challenge Australia for the Davis Cup, prior to March 1. The association has decided to join the International Tennis Federation, ■with certain stipulations, including individual championships being held in rotation by different nations.
It was decided also to enter for the British championships and the Olympic Games. —A. and N.Z.
