Alfred Felton, the sculling champion, instead of waiting itntil February, will sail by the Konigin Luise on Thursday owing to the death of his mother.
Barry states that, win or lose, he will row Paddoa. or any other Australian.
An unfortunate accident befel Pelton's boats to-day. While they were being carried on a motor to the ship, a motor 'bus in Aldgate ran into the car, and smashed the tailends of both boats. They will be repaired in Australia. —A. and N.Z.
