OHAEAWAI SPORTS.

The Ohaeawai Athletic Club announce a line programme for New Year's Day. There will bo a total prize money of £54, which includes Ohaeawai cup £20. A movement is on foot, to make the whole series of events real live factors, and the secretary, Mr C. 0. Culpan, is working hard to achieve a record success. Entries close with the secretary on December 30. An advertisement in the "Advocate ,, gives further details of entries. A large attendance is expected. It is probable that many holidaymakers will avail themselves of the opportunity of becoming acquainted with historic Ohaeawai. The Athletic Club advertise the full programme and it. will be seen to be an attractive one. The sixteen specified items make that quite clear. Adults pay Is 6d admission fees, children under 12 paying Is. A dance follows, and the full arrangements indicate a day of enjoyment; for old and young. The crowd expected will we well catered for.
