RACE SUICIDE CONDEMNED,
LOOSE MARRIAGE TIES
(Received 8 a.m.) SYDNEY, Nov. 17. A bitter moral crusade is proceeding. Many letters are appearing in the papers, directed particularly against women's daring dress. Father O'Reilly openly attacks race suicide. He says that Australia is rapidly -becoming like France, which had cast off the Church. Unless the nation letracccl its steps it would be. on the xoad to extinction. Referring to the number of divorces, he added: "We are rapidly, as a nation, becoming a disgrace to civilisation."—A. and N.Z.
