WASHINGTON, Sept. 24,
Mr Gompers, giving evidence before the Senatorial Interstate' Commerce Committee, asserted that the United States Steel Corporation had been guilty of serious crimes against the workers, who had no choice<but to strike, since Mr Gary, chairman of the Steel Corporation, wouldn't give them a hearing.—A. and N.Z.
