"Are Dalmatians barred from taking part in any matches under your jurisdiction?" was a question received by the New Zealand Rugby Union from Te Teko. The Management Committee of the Union decided that it had no authority to bar such players if the unions decided to play them. Mr G. Howe: "We can't debar them from playing any more than we can Chinamen: we had Chinamen playing here some years ago." Mr W. Cook: "What, faiWan?" (Laughter.) Mr Howe: "No; wing three-quarter."
