OBITUARY.

MRS ALEXANDER WILSON.

Mr Tom ..Wilson, of Ruakaka, has received word that his mother, Mrs Alexander Wilson, of Birkenhead, died yesterday morning* Mr and Mrs Wilson arrived in New Zealand in the ship Portland, 56 years ago last July. Mr Wilson predeceased his wife about five years. The family are very old and respected residents of Auckland, having been living there for the past 50 years. Mrs Wilson was about 82 years of age. Besides Mr Tom Wilson there is another son in this district, M r Alexander Wilson of Ruatangata West| There were fourteen of a family altogether, all. the rest being settled about Birkenhead and Auckland. So far the deaths of the parents only have been recorded. ,
