CASUAL COMMENT.

That Whangarei ladies take a great interest in football, is evident from the numbers of the fair sex who crowded the stand and grounds at Kensington Park on Thursday afternoon, and most of them had donned gala attire in spite of .the storm of the morning. The victory for the Whangarei team must have been greatly to their satisfaction. Whangarei is looking forward to a golf dance next week. As it is the end of the season, every effort will be put forth no doubt to make the dance a success.
