NOISY DELIBERATIONS

SYDNEY, August 20. prolonged and rowdy meeting of seamen adjourned, after hearing the delegate from Melbourne regarding the Government's terms.
Although the Government's proposals are not altered, it is understood that information in possession of the delegates will possibly put the position in a new light.
No decision, however, has been reached.—A. and N.Z.
