A message from Prague states that the Czechoslovak troops to-day ocicupied the bridgeheads of Pressburg. Crossing the Danube at two points partly on rafts and partly by a bridge, they silently captured a Magyar picket, whereupon the whole garrison surrendered. —Reuter.
was formerly the capital of Hungary. It is situated on the western border of that country, and is but 34 miles south-eastward from Vieraia.
