ALLAHABAD,' Aug. 14

Fighting still continues along the frontier with irreconcilable tribes. The Mohmands and Waziris descend from the hills for occasional raids on our lines. It is suggested that a punitive expedition be sent.

The Afghan peace delegates have passed our lines on their way home.

'The news of peace was received with enthusiasm in Jelalabad.

The Government of Indja has appointed a commission to investigate charges of deficiencies in the medical supply service during the campaign. —A. and N.Z.
