At the request of the superintendent, Mr Mander made the following presentations:— Two years' bar to complete 17 years' service, due 27th February, 1919—Superintendent Chissell. Two years' bar, to complete 17 years' service, due 14th May, 1919— Deputy-Superintendent Beeston. Two yars' bar to complete 19 years' service, due 14th February, 1919—Foreman S. Fulljames. - Two years' bar to complete 17 years' service, due 27th February, 1919—Fireman Eccles. Two years' bar to complete 15 years' service, due 7th February, 1919—Fireman Marvin. Two years' bar to complete 13 years' service, due 4th September, 1918 —Fireman Tremain. Two years' bar to complete 13 years' service, due 2nd May, 1919.— : Fireman Hill. Two years' bar to complete 11 years' Service, due 6th February, 1918—Fireman Reed. Two years' bar to complete 11 years' service, due 6th May, 1919— Fireman Watt. Medal to complete 5 years' service, due Ist June, 1919—Foreman Reynolds. Certificate to complete three years' service, due Ist June, 1918—Fireman Pearson. Certificate to complete three years' service, due September, 1919 —Fireman Sharp. Promptly following each presentation the whole company stood and made the rusty iron roof rattle with "Jolly Good Fellow" and other popular ditties.
