THE RECENT REVISION.
INCLUDES WAR BONUS,
WELLINGTON, This Day.
The war bonus thafe has been paid to members of the Civil Service during the last three years ceased to be paid on April 1, when the new scale of salaries came into operation. The all-round increases of salary granted under the new scale are regarded officially as including the bonus formerly paid. This means that the war bonus, plus' any additional increases granted, has become a permanent part of Civil Service salaries. —P.A.
