This match was won easily by United, the scores being: United 23, Kamo 3.
After a considerable amount of* pressing, in 'which Kamo forced twice, Smith took the ball from "the ruck antP"broke through, but the attempt at goal failed.—United 3 Kamo nil.
Shortly after the kick-off in the second quarte r United were penalis- ; cd for obstruction, but the attempt, at goal failed.
The next penalty was given against Kamo, McLeod registering, .a goal.—United 6, Kamo .nil. -
A little later a further penalty was given by the.same team, but the attempt at goal by McLeod failed and.Kamo forced.
United then put on the pressure and Kamo were again compelled to force. At a later stage Lambly marked a good position, but did not succeed in kicking the goal, and Kamo again forced. Just before half-time another penalty was given against Kamo for offside play, but Lambly failed to kick the goal. HALF-TIME. Within a very few minutes Smith took the ball from the ruck and scored", but the attempt at goal failed.—United 9, Kamo nil. Afterwards McLean took "the"' ball from the line-out and| scored ,the third try, which was not converted. —United 12, Kamo nil. United continued to press their opponents hard; but through infringments failed to score, Kamo being relieved each time with good,Jftck3. From a v good rush, Emson, for Kamo, the ball down the fieid and Conway scored, but the kick at goal failed.—United 12, Kamo 3.
From a scrum later on United started a passing run, which ended in Smith scoring another unconverted try.—United 15, Kamo 3.
The next try was scored by Lambly, who received the ballfrom Pitman, the latter gathering it up in the loose. Lamlbly converted his own try.—United 20, Kamo 3.
The Pitman brothers figured in the ' next piece of brilliant play, which ended in a further score, the attempt at .goal -failing.—United 23, Kamo 3.
There were no further scores when time was called.
