A daring robbery took place at the Milton post office on Wednesday night, a sum of .-2500 being removed from the safe.

Mr McGuire, postmaster, states that he heard a noise in his bedroom, where the keys of the office were, some time during the night, but as it was not repeated he concluded that it arose from another part of the house.
