DENEKIN FORCE SUPPORTED.
COSSACK CO-OPERATION
(Received 8.50 p.m.)
LONDON, March 5
Mr Cecil Harmsworth, replying to a question in the Commons, said that the Allies were supporting General Denekin's volunteers in South Russia, who were cordially co-operating with the Don Cossacks against the Bolsheviks.
Britain had entered into no negotiations to support any Ukrainian party. He understood that General Petlura was aiming at the establishment of an independent Ukraine.— A. and N.Z.
