RUPPRECHT'S POLICY.

OPPOSED BY LUDENDORFF,

AMIENS ADVANCE STOPPED

(Received 8 p.m.) COPENHAGEN, Dec. 5. The "Berlingische Tidende" says that after the second battle of the Somme in 191G Prince Rupprecht urged peace, also in the beginning of 1918. He came into sharp conflict with General Ludendorff, who stopped Prince Rupprecht's advance on Amiens when the prospects of breakthrough were favourable. Thus the relationship of Prince Rupprecht and Ludendorff was completely severed. Ludendorff was hoping to set Paris on fire with a new bomb. Prince Rupprecht protested to yon Hinze, who prevented its use. —A. and N.Z. and Reuter.
