PRACTICALLY SUBDUED
CARTERTON, Dec. 7
The influenza is practically over. Since the outbreak there have been nine deaths m the borough. The presidents ox 17 country areas, including three natives, and prompt and perfect organisation quickly got the complaint in hand, and though a considerable number contracted it the steps taken proved effective in controlling the disease.—Press Assn.
