CHURCH SERVICES.

USE OF COUNTRY SCHOOLS

The Rev. Lambert, President Minister's Association, Whangarei, writes that the Minister of Public Health, when announcing that churches may resume full services on and after Sunday, December 8, left it very vague whether religious services could be held in country public schools on that date. The following telegram was sent the Minister on this matter: "Cannot country public school buildings be used for religious services on December 8?"

To the above the Minister replied: "No objections to public school buildings being used for religious services, but if the buildings have been used as temporary hospitals, or anything of that kind, they should be thoroughly fumigated and disinfected beforehand; and perhaps this should be done in any case."
