BRITISH ELECTIONS.
NATIONAL LIBERAL VIEW
(Received 9.5 p.m.)
LONDON, Sept 27,
The chairman at the annual general meeting of the National Liberal Federation said: "There is no necessity for a general election under present circumstances. There had been no weakening of the national determination to win the war. We say to the Government: 'Get on with your job. Afterwards the Liberal party will present a programme adapted to the new conditions.' " —A. and N. Z.
