[ According to a statement by Mr S J. Ambury, chairman of the Auck land Freezing Company, more catth were fattened in Auckland provinc< last year than in any previous year The remark was made in reference t< the fact that the cattle slaughtered b\ the company during the year showec a decrease as compared with the num ber slaughtered during the previou season.
