NEW AWARD OF HONOUR.
"KING'S CERTIFICATE."

The War Office announces "the award of special certificates of honour, to be called the "King's Certificate," on discharge, to all ranks except officers of the army, navy, and air force discharged through wounds or disabilities incurred on active service or through other enemy action. A second certificate of discharge will be warded where the recipients of the first award voluntarily re-enlist and are discharged. The dominion authorities will issue certificates to former members of the Australian, Canadian, and New Zealand Naval Force, and the Accountant-General of the Navy to members of the Malta and Newfoundland General Naval Reserve.—A. and N.Z. and Reuter.
