CHANCE FOR VOLUNTEERS
WELLINGTON ,May 15
The Dh'ector of Recruiting announces that voluntary enlistments will now be received of 19 and 20----year-old youths, and for Classes B, C, and Dof the Second Division. Special attention is drawn to the fact that a new Class, D, is now open to voluntary enlistment. Balloted men of Classes A and B are invited to volunteer to proceed to camp with the Forty-third draft, .instead of with any later draft to which they may be already posted; in no case will volunteers be accepted for any draft later than the, Forty-third. As arranged on the occasion of the last ballot, Class B may continue to volunteer while the ballot is in progress, but only on the clear understanding that they will nevertheless be drawn in the ballot, and that they will forego their privilege of delay, proceeding to camp with the 43rd draft, as in the case of other volunteers. It will, of course, be impossible to star their names in the *'Gazette," but District Headquarters will, as before, request the good offices of the Press to star in the newspaper lists the names of those who have volunteered up to noon on Saturday, 18th instant;
