AN OLD RESIDENT PASSES.
HEATH OF MR T. I. MOODY
News was received with regret this morning of the death of M r T. P. Moody, Bay of Islands road, Whangarei. The deceased gentleman, who was about IT, years of age, was an old resident of the North and was closely connected with the coal-min-ing industry. This morning he was apparently in his usual health and strolled down the avenue to get a parcel at the road gate towards 11.30 o'clock. About ten minutes later the postman found the deceased lying in the avenue and at once gave the alarm. Dr. Baxter was quickly on the scene, but found life to be extinct, apparently from heart failure. Mr Moody leaves a wife, two sons and five daughters, to whom many friends will extend their heartfelt sympathy.
