WHANGAREI A. PLATOON.

The latest competition shoot of tho A. Platoon, Marsden Defence Rifles, took place at the Otaika range for a gold medal presented by Corporal D. Smeals, and was productive of a very exciting finish, the scratch man (Corpl. A. Gossett) being only one point behind the winner (Private C. Baker.) The scores were as follow: — Handicap. Total. Pte.
