The "Morning Post," in a special article on the West front, says there are abundant indications that the Germans are short of guns and ammuni. tion.
Although they have many guns massed at certain points, the rest -)f the line has bieen skinned in order to do so.
British counter.battery work never ceases. Wlhen an enemy battery is detected, suddicD'lj- anything from 150 to 500 British heavy shells are turned on the spot.
In this way it is estimated that the British have destroyed 1280 G&rmans guns in 23 weeks.
