The "Cologne Gazette" admits that a Russian offensive is starting, despite the mutineers' weakened discipline, adding resignedly: "Let them all come. Our Eastern wall stands. n
The best-informed London opinion estimates that Brusiloff's is still the largest individual Allied army.^ The offensive is expected to improve the internal .situation, probably poetponing of a crisis iihtil vtintet, when the food, fuel, and financial position will be most acute. ,
