The 'House of Commons was crowded to-day, all the Liberal members of the ex-Cabinet being seated on the front ■ Opposition benches, The Unionist rank and file retained Its seats On the Opposition side, fore* stalling the Liberals, who intended td cross the liobi , : Mr 'Bdnar iiaw hibved the adjdiiriiment 6f the 'Hdiise till Thursday, Mr Lloyd George wduid rnQve a vote of credit. Mr Reginald McKenna suggested that Mr Lloyd (George's statement of policy should be postponed till next week to enable Mr Asquith to be present. The House agreed to this course.
