There was a strong demand for all classes, and late high values ruled. Best dairy cows brought from £1.4 to £16 15/, second grade £9 10/ to £12, aged and inferior £6 to £8 10/; springing heifers, best £10 to £12 5/, smaller £6 10/ to £8 10/; empty cows £6 15/ to £9 ■!/; three-yea r-oid steers £11 to £12 3/, IS.months to two-year-olds £7 10/ to £9 10/, yearling steers £5 10/ to £6 5/; hoi furs, same agi\ £3 15/ to £5 10/, according to quality; calves, £2 10/ to £3 17/.
