MR GUI'N'NELL GOES TO GOAL.

The Court of Appeal has upheld the conviction of Mr J. Guinncll, Irish '.VI.P., at the time of the Sinn Fein ruvolt, for a breach of the Defence of the Realm Act, in connection with an attempt to interview som c > of the prisoners in ?;;«)!. The Court, however, reduced the fine by one-half.
.Mr Ginuell declared that ho would not pay a penny, and said h e would prefer to go to goal.
On the application of Mr Hcaly, the Court reduced the term of imprisonment to one-half.
