PARLIAMENT.

THE HOUSE. The House met at 2.30. THROUGH ALL STAGES. The Tramways Amendment Bill was read a first time as a matter of urgency and passed all stages. FIRST READINGS. The Sanitation of Theatres Bill (Mr Payne), and Greyniouth Native Reserve Bill (Mr Herries) were read a first time. EXPEDITIONARY FORCES. On the motion to go into committee on the Expeditionary Forces Bill Hon. James Allen explained the provisions were mainly technical. A debate followed until the 5.30 adjournment when the motion was passed. The House resumed at 7.30 when, the Bill was considered in committee and was reported with one or two slight amendments, read a third time and passed. The House rose at 8.47 p.m.
