SETTLED IX SUPREME COURT,

, August 21. In the''Supreme Court another milking machine patent case was settled this morning. The Gane Company, of Auckland, applied for an injunction against J. B. MacEwan and Company, Wellington, for- an alleged infringement of a patent and to prevent the sale by defendant company of milk releasers. Defendant admitted an Uifringement and agreed to discontinue sales. The terms of the settlement were agreed -to subject to the preservation of the right of plaintiff to apply for a certificate of validity under Section 37 of the Patents Act, 1911, in order that full copts might be recovered" in event of any future infringement. The injunction was granted by the Court with permission for the plaintiff to apply for a certificate of validity.
