THE ECONOMIC PRESSURE.

(Press Assn.—Reed. 5.30 a.m.) FREMANTLE, May 11. Bishop Sadlier, of Nelson, who is a passenger by the Osterly, stated that many prominent men at Home thought the war would end suddenly owing to the economic collapse in Germany. It would be necessary, however, to see that such a collapse was not a German subterfuge.

Referring to the submarines, he said
