The Britannia Theatre attendance enjoyed a rare treat on Saturday night, when the star drama Bison picture, "The Picket Guard," was screened. This picture, though a. war picture, is of a most unusual type. It opens with a sentryman on. guard and pictures his feelings by means of dissolving views representing the thoughts revolving in his mind. He thinks of his little ones at home. He thinks of the enemy sontryman's little ones at home and tries to put himself in the other fellow's place. The whole treatment of the troublous times of war is such that one instinctively asks "Why?'— war, what for? Is there no other way?" To-morrow the Britannia Theatre will offer "The Foreign Spies," a thrilling three-reel exclusive drama, shewing- German deviltry in England. m &.
