Count yon Bernstorff, German Ambassador, announces -that if the Lusitania had been disarmed before her destruction Germany had not been advised of 'the fact. : The Marconi Bureau interrupted the following German wireless from the New York "World" to Herr Balliu:—"Believe that a message from you, showing justification for the destruction of the Lusitania, would be welcome by millions of GermanAmericans. Your reply would be of incalculable benefit to Germany ac this crisis."
