CAPTAIN RESCUED.

The Lusitania was torpedoed fifteen miles off-shore. She was headed shorewards, but after being struck she sank in fifteen minutes. Air Thomas only heard one torpedo. The captain remained on the bridge to the last and went down with the vessel. A lifebelt kept him afloat for thrae hours till he was rescued.
