A deputation from the Chamber oif ' Manufacturers Mr Fisher to impose a surcharge of 25 per centum on - enemy goods for teh j'ears after the war. . The jdeputation also suggested a three-schedule tariff 'on Canadian lines. This provides for pfeferenca for British goods,, lesser preference ■ • for "most-favoured nations," and or- - dinary tariff for enemy , r g;oods. . , Cabinet consideration wits promised. <
