In this establishment a great variety of work is undertaken, including joinery in all branches, the manufacture of jack-stocks for wholesale export, construction of ' moulds for making concrete pipes, i etc. Mr. Lovatt is also prepared to cut logs for private persons into any required lengths or size of timber, lie also makes a specialty of rata arms for telephone poles, and has already supplied large orders to the Government and Gisborne Borough Council. He would be glad to supply these arms for private telephones anywhere in the country] He ; claims to have the only apparatus in / the district for brazing broken band saws and automatically sharpening and setting them. He also under- > takes all classes of fret-work. At the present time he has an exceptionally large stock of glass on hand and can supply the wants-of all customers.
