BEER BOYCOTT.

SYDNEY, January 21

Since early this month ten towns in the Maitland coalfield have gone on strike against the increased price of beer. A boyeptt is being maintained and extensive picketing is in vogue. Temperance advocates are successfully campaigning. They have induced over three hundred people to sign a six months' pledge.
