In the House of Com.nons Mr Charles Roberts stated thaU Britain and France had repeatedly endeavoured to secure the removal of the German wireless staff at Cartagena, also the effective dismantling of Avireelss on German ships in Columbian ports, and had finally intimated to the United States that they might be obliged to take protective measures similar to the warning given to Ecuador respecting the Galapagos Islands.
