The Food Supplies Commission recommends legislation for the suspension of the enemy's patents.
The Minister of Agriculture conferred with shipping representatives, who explained that the increased freight charges Avere due to altered routes and the control the Admiralty exercised over the vessels.
Cabinet considered the matter and decided to postpone action pending further information from New Zealand.
