WHAT DR. TORREY IS DOING.
The many friends of Dr Torrey, says the "Life of Faith," will be interested in knowing o£ the progress of his work in Los Angeles, California. The great Bible Institute Buildings are rapidly nearing completion, and while there has been some delay in finishing, it is anticipated that they will be completed in time for opening about midsunyner. In the buildings there will be. an auditorium to about.4soo people, and other rooms, which, thrown together, will seat 1500 people. There are two dormitories, with about. 350 rooms in each, and these will be available for Christian workers until required. for students. , The course of instruction covers twef years, and deals with Bible introduction, Bible doctrine, practical methods of Christian work, teachers' training, music, missions, etc., and on the practical side there are- extension classes, evangelistic work, missions among Spanish Jews, in the oil fields, shop meetings, seamen's work, etc., etc. Los Angeles is an ideal city-for such an institution, as it is a plaice
