FIGHTING IN DENVER ' , STOPPED.
MEN TO BE CHARGED WITH MURDER. SEIGE OF WALZENBURG. Cable: —Press Association. —Copyright. WASHINGTON, April 30/ Under a truce agreement fighting has stopped at Denver (Colo : rado), over 600 strikers laying down their arms.
The men will be detained in custody and charged with murder. Federal troops are expected immediately, when it is probable peace will be restored. The town of Walzenburg has withstood .practically a seige, ami women and children are imperilled. Mine guards and strikers fought for hours. , the bullets whistling overhead in the street,*. A special session of the State Legislature has been called to deal with the situation.
