Messrs Dalgety and Company Limited rtport having held their usual fat stock sale on .Wednesday, the Bth inst., at Westfifield as under:-— Beef: Average yarding. Prices were a shade lower that last week. Extra choice pens of prime ox sold at equal to 31s per lOOlbs; ordinary prime quality ox, 27s to 28s per 100; cow and-heifer beef, 24s to 26s per 100, according to quality. Veal: Moderate yarding. Prices were on par with late rates. Heavy runners made £3 4s to £3 12s; heavy suckers, 38s to 48s; small suckers, 25s to 325; others, 3s to 18s;'-*:" : '.'•* Mutton: Average yarding. Prices were on par with last week's rates. Extra heavy wethers made up to 25s 6d; good heavy prime sheep, :18s 6d to 21s 6d; light 16s to 17s 9d; extra heavy ewes, 17s to 21s; medium weight ewes,;l4s 9d to"l6s 6d. Lamb:"Small yarding, which sold at late rates. Heavy prime woolly, 15s 6d to 17s 6d; medium weight, 12s to 14s; inferior, 8s 9d to 10s 3d. Pork: Large yarding; Prices on par with late rates. Choppers made up to £3 7s; baconers, £2 7s to £2 15s; heavy porkers, 37s to 435; light porkers, 25s to, 31s; stores, 8s 6d to 12s; weaners,:7s to.Bs 6d.
